Summer Immersion Program 2020

2020 Summer Immersion Program

Girls Who Code's Summer Immersion Program (SIP) is a FREE, 7-week program for 10–11th grade girls (rising juniors and seniors), to learn about computer science, gain exposure to tech jobs, and join a supportive sisterhood of thousands of girls across the US. This year, we are hosting roughly 80 programs across the country. Click here to view our program locations!

Please click "Register" at the top right of this page to begin. If you already have an account on this platform from a previous application cycle, please click "Log In."

Our application is also available in Spanish! You can toggle between languages (EN/ES) by selecting the "EN" button at the top of your screen.

ACCEPTING YOUR OFFER - THE REGISTRATION PROCESS:
Applicants who received an offer to participate in the Summer Immersion Program need to log in (using the same email you applied with), and complete the Registration Process to confirm your position.

Once you log in, you will see 3-4 tasks on your account (depending on your program). You'll need to complete the tasks in order:

1) Task 1: Program Info
2) Task 2: Accept or Decline Your Offer
3) Task 3: Emergency Information
3.5) Task 4: Security Photo (Only applies to some programs.)
4) DocuSign Permission Forms (Emailed to guardians, and students for some programs.)

Please note that for the last step, parents (and in some cases students) will receive an email with forms to sign - so keep an eye on your inbox! The forms will be emailed once you accept your offer on Task 2.

Once these steps are complete, your position in the program will be confirmed.

DECLINING YOUR OFFER:
If your circumstances have changed and you are no longer able to participate, please log in, complete Task 1 and then decline your offer on Task 2. This is a huge help to us, as it allows us to open your seat to a student from the Waitlist.
